At IDG, Guy and his team have been working with various large organizations, Universities and Research Institutes, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and innovators to help them protect and turn their ideas into the best products and services possible. As well, Guy has been the lead lecturer for the Department of Intellectual Property training program in 2015 to help enhance Thai exporters’ knowledge on IP protection and management in ASEAN and China.
Before founding IDG, Guy was a business development and technology licensing professional at Chulalongkorn University Intellectual Property Institute (CUIPI) where he coordinated several University-Industry R&D collaboration projects and conducted market feasibility analyses for technologies across different fields. He had also helped the University to execute more than 20 R&D and technology licensing agreements.
Guy had also worked as a neuroscientist in Japan at Riken Brain Science Institute, which is a part of Japan’s largest Research Institute. For 3 years during his time at Riken, he had performed various large-scale analyses of neurochemical data and contributed to the modeling of important neural pathways which lead to the causes of neurological disorders such as Down syndrome and Schizophrenia. All of which resulted in 3 prestigious scientific publications such as in Nature Publishing Group.
- Master’s Degree with GPA of 4.0 in Industrial Engineering and Management, specializing in IP Management, from Georgia Institute of Technology (USA) and Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan).
- Patent Agent Certificate from the Department of Intellectual Property (Thailand).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from University of Victoria (Canada).
